R410a Refrigerant
July 2010	In line with ecological demands and with focus on saving energy, ABAC are one of the first suppliers to offer refrigerated dryers equipped with the latest R410a refrigerant. These models also feature a new energy efficient rotary refrigeration compressors (model DRY 690 –DRY 1260). All DRY models are also fitted with an energy saving ‘no loss’ condensate drain. Remember also that during our current ‘GO DRY’ campaign you will receive a free pre-ﬁ litre of the relevant size when ordering any DRY product.	Key beneﬁts (R410a): No CFC impact- protecting the future environment. Reduced GWP (Global Warming Potential) -58% compared to R404a gas. Rotary compressor – 25% less power consumption compared to normal hermetic compressors. Compressor with integrated liquid separator prides increased reliability and reduced risk for leaks. Much lower temperature glide removes risk of separation during evaporation/condensation improving reliability and efﬁciency Large stock means quick delivery.
Energy Box
July 2010	ENERGY BOX is a new easy to install way of reclaiming some of the energy consumed by any standard oil lubricated screw compressors, energy that is otherwise wasted. By connecting ENERGY BOX to the compressor we are able to provide hot or heated water as a by-product of the compressors operation. This means that we recover the energy from the oil circuit on the compressor, thereby replacing the energy normally used to fuel boilers or heaters. This heated water can be used for a variety of uses in wash rooms for instance or indeed any process that requires heated or hot water (up to 70ºC). This recovery of energy can be truly signiﬁcant in reducing energy bills and improving efﬁciency. For instance with a 37 kW machine the recoverable energy available is up to 29.9 kW which may equate to a heating cost of over £6000 per annum based on 4000 operating hours. ENERGY BOX is available in sizes to suit any make of oil injected screw compressor from 11-90 kW. SPINN Screw Compressors
	The latest additions to the SPINN range are now available from 5.5 kW to 11 kW and are added to the smaller machines in the SPINN range which were launched late 2009. All models in the latest range beneﬁt from a smaller footprint and much lower noise levels when compared to the previous range. New SPINN models are also ﬁ tted with a Group C55 compressor element and all models have improved access for ease of service. Key features SPINN 5.5-11 kW: Low noise levels down to 61dB(A) Reduced footprint – 270 Litre version just 0.97 M2. Floor mounted, receiver mounted and integrated dryer versions available. Models available at 8, 10 and 13 bar MWP. New ES99 controller adjusts compressor operation according to high, low or intermittent demand. Improved service access with external oil level monitor for added convenience.
