ABAC CleanAir dental and oil-free compressors
- New compressor pump design, revised range and new brochure.

The CleanAir series of Oil free compressors has been revised to include versions fitted with the new PR  ‘BOXER’ style pump unit which offers higher output, low noise levels and improved duty cycle, this range can optionally be offered to run at a maximum pressure of 10 Bar (145 psi).

The new range includes versions with or without adsorption dryer and includes SKY versions with noise reducing canopy as well as silenced cabinet versions. The new leaflet includes information which allows the easy selection of the correct compressor based on the number of chairs in the surgery for example.

-         New ‘PR’ pump unit with higher output and improved duty.

-      10 Bar Max Pressure available as an option.

-         can be used as part of a system to comply with HTM 2022

Airflow Compressors Ltd of Leigh, Lancashire, was formed in 1996 by Roy Woods and Adrian Sims and in the last ten years have established a reputation as the leading compressed air specialist in the region. Quiet, Oil Free, Dental Compressor
A single surgery compressor

During the Dental Showcase (5th-7th October) ABAC has launched a new range of oil-less compressors, the new Clean-Air 50/1B is suitable for a single dental surgery with a capacity of 90 Lt/min (55 Lt/min FAD) it is very quiet at 64 dB(A).

This model is a good solution for those surgeries that are looking to upgrade from lubricated models to oil-free equivalents in line with the recommendations for dental quality air given by the BDTA (British Dental Trade Association) & the BCAS (British Compressed Air Society) in the Dental Compressed Air Code of Practice.

This model is also suitable for labs, and other critical applications where the quality of air is important.

The ABAC CleanAir range of 'oil-free' air compressors represent the most comprehensive range and have been specifically designed for the dental market.  The range spans of over twenty models suitable for all sizes of surgery. The range consists of standard and silenced 'oil free' models, each of which can be chosen with the option of an adsorption dryer,  oil removal filtration and biological filtration in line with current and pending legislation.

ABAC have introduced a revised range of high pressure air compressors suitable for breathing air, paint ball and many other industrial processes.

The new range comprises skid mounted and cabinet versions with the option of electric motor, petrol engine or diesel engine drive. The range spans 12 standard models from 2.2 kW up to 15 kW.

Each model comes with whip hose or multiple hoses with the option of DIN230/300 or INT connections in addition each compressor is fitted with molecular sieve and activated carbon filtration ensuring air quality to CGA-E, DIN 3188 and EN12021 and with longer service interval at 50 hours.

New PURO Condensate Separators

Controlling pollutants is an important aspect to the operation of any industrial process. The condensate produced as a by-product of compressed air generation is a toxic and hazardous substance that provides a danger to the environment. As well as environmental concerns, stricter regulation governing the control of this substance combine to provide a real challenge to all users or compressed air, in order to avoid fines and to prevent the release of dangerous material into the environment.

The new PURO range of condensate management systems provides a new solution to a growing problem. By employing new filtration procedures the PURO series provides maximum security along with ease of use and simple low cost maintenance. Conventional condensate separators rely on the physical separation/gravitation of the oil from the water so that the oil can be drained separately and the remaining water cleaned through an activated carbon media.

This process is adversely affected in cases where vibration or shocks are present and by any turbulence created by an increase in compressed air flow. Furthermore the oil needs to be drained from the system into a container before disposal. Finally over time the water that sits in the primary stage tank becomes stagnant and therefore may present health risks, problems not affecting the new PURO. New Refrigerated Dryers

The New ACT range of refrigerant dryers from ABAC have been designed for optimum reliability, whilst the unique heat exchanger technology used in all ACT dryers provide for a more stable dew point and reduced power consumption.

The ACT dryers feature a unique (patent pending) combi heat exchanger with the air/air and refrigerant/air heat exchanger combined into one, single aluminium unit. The heat exchanger employs reverse flow principles in the air and fluid passages, whilst the vertical arrangement of the heat exchanger allows complete and efficient separation of condensate.

A further benefit of the combined heat exchanger is provided by the extremely low pressure drop, which translates into energy savings and improved efficiency. The hot gas by-pass valve fitted to the ACT dryer employs new technology that provides absolute protection from the risk of icing in the evaporator. The ACT range comprises twenty five models with capacity up 180 m3/min (6357 scfm) and working pressure up to 16 bar.

The ACT dryer is designed to allow a simple installation and with the smart blue and white colour and attractive styling, looks good in any environment. Data sheets and presentation disc available on request.

ALUP - Lento
oil free rotary screw Compressors

A Clear Leader

ALUP have launched a new range of water injected , oil free rotary screw compressors from 15 to 55 kW and with operating pressures between 5 and 10 bar. 

 The new Lento is the product of many years of research into water injected technology applied to air compression.  Providing totally oil free compressed air the Lento is also a convenient, reliable and energy efficient solution in applications where a total oil free package is required. 

All lento models feature an integral refrigerant dryer which performs two functions, firstly to remove condensate from the delivered air in the normal way providing dry compressed air, but secondly to provide a source of condensed, therefore pure and stable water that is used in the   compression process. 

In this way more condensed water can be generated than is actually needed and therefore the Lento does not require an external water circuit and is a complete stand alone unit allowing a convenient and quick installation.           

ALUP of course have been a leading exponent in variable speed compressors, and the lento incorporates both the variable speed and direct drive technologies from the acclaimed Allegro series. Energy efficient, convenient and with totally oil free compressed air, that’s the new Lento from ALUP.

Gearing Up For Success

The SCG range from ALUP has been providng a robust and extremely reliable source of compressed air, to larger users for many years.  The new Largo range, which now replaces the SCG series, aims to build on this reputation, by providing added efficiency and more sophisticated controls. 

The Largo range from 90kW - 400kW and with working pressure up to 13 bar, has been specifically designed to provide energy efficiency, ease of installation and complete reliability even in the most arduous of applications.
